About me
My name is Erin Ma (they/them). I was born and raised in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu, but moved to New York for college. I attended the University of Rochester, and graduated Cum Laude in 2023, with a B.S. in Brain and Cognitive Science, and a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy.
After graduating, I turned to something more creative and began making art. I am a self-taught artist working primarily with ink, arclyic paint, and canvas, but soon hope to expand into new mediums. I have shown work at the “Our Way 2024” gallery at the West End Art Center in New Jersey.
My art utilizes lots of mystical and alchemical symbology from across a myriad of traditions and is meant to be a means for people to experience engaging within themselves. I hope to show people a new possible future, full of unconditional love, and human evolution. My pieces are made to reflect the broader Universe and our place in it, as well as, try to illuminate what it means to be on this earth.
